Dr. Faye Dannhauser
Dr. Faye Dannhauser has been a GP for 20 years, working in both the NHS and private healthcare across Greater London.
She specialises in lifestyle medicine and genomics, offering Precision GP services that use the latest advances in genomic medicine and personalised healthcare. This approach tailors treatments and health plans to each person’s unique genetic makeup, medical history and lifestyle. It can include predicting health risks, using pharmacogenomics to find the most effective treatments, and enhancing screening and prevention strategies based on individual risk factors.
Dr Dannhauser completed her Master’s degree in Genomic Medicine at Cambridge University and holds a Diploma in Lifestyle Medicine. She is also involved in research on polygenic risk scores, investigating how they might be used to predict the likelihood of common diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.
As the GP Lead for the North Thames Genetics Medicine Service Alliance, Dr Dannhauser works with a team to educate primary care professionals on new developments in genomics.
